Project overview
Everything you need to manage the season
Linas Agro is one of Lithuania’s leading agribusiness groups, working with farmers and business customers across the country. Its self-service platform is an important part of that relationship: it’s where customers check grain prices, book deliveries and keep track of invoices. We were asked to rethink the platform from the ground up.
We based the work on real user scenarios and the business processes behind them. The aim was simple: make the platform reliable, easy to understand and just as useful on a phone as on a desktop - whether someone logs in every morning or only a few times during the season.

the challenge
Self-service that had grown in every direction
Self-service platforms rarely become complicated overnight. They usually grow one feature at a time. New information gets added, patterns start to differ, and before long the support team is answering questions the interface should have made unnecessary.
That was the situation with Linas Agro. The job wasn’t simply to update how the platform looked. We needed to bring its everyday tasks back into a clear structure, so users could quickly understand where to go, what to do and what would happen next.

Designed around real user habits
We started by looking at how people actually used the platform. A few clear patterns emerged. Some users returned often for quick checks and routine actions. Others logged in only occasionally and needed more guidance. Many visits were about one specific task: finding a document, checking a status or completing an administrative step.
Those behaviours shaped the platform. We organised the navigation, terminology and screen layouts around the way people actually work, rather than the way the underlying system happens to be structured. That makes the platform easier to understand for occasional users without getting in the way of people who use it every day.

Prices that help users make decisions
Live MATIF prices for wheat, rapeseed and corn are shown on the overview screen together with daily movement and recent highs and lows. Users can fix a price from the same view, so the information and the action sit side by side.
Deliveries booked in a few taps
Each delivery invitation includes the relevant contract, period, quantity and delivery address. Users choose an available time slot in the calendar and confirm the delivery. If plans change, they can update it just as easily and see the new status straight away.
Finances without digging through documents
Overdue and payable balances are visible as soon as users log in. Each invoice also has a clear status - paid, unpaid or partially paid - so the key numbers can be checked without opening the document itself.
A design system built to grow
The whole platform uses the same library of components, states and interaction patterns. That keeps new screens consistent as the product evolves and gives the team a solid base for whatever comes next.

Clearer, simpler, faster
The redesigned platform brings prices, deliveries and invoices into one consistent experience. Market prices sit alongside the contracts they affect, deliveries can be booked or rescheduled in a few clicks, and financial information is available without opening a single document.
The shared design system keeps the experience consistent across desktop and mobile. For users, that means fewer surprises and less time figuring out how things work. For the team behind the platform, it creates a much stronger base for adding new features over time.
