Project overview

Turning an ambitious rebrand into a living digital experience

Kilo's transformation went far beyond a new identity. Evolving from a single health-tech company into a venture ecosystem spanning investment, incubation, and new business creation demanded a digital experience capable of expressing that same momentum. Following the strategic direction from Synthesis and the visual identity created by andstudio, our role was to bring the brand to life where it matters most: in the browser.

The challenge wasn't simply translating a visual language onto a website. It was creating an experience that could sustain that energy across every interaction while supporting a business built to keep expanding. Expressive typography, animated generative patterns, playful micro-interactions, and carefully choreographed motion work together to make the site feel alive rather than static. Every page reinforces Kilo's sense of velocity, turning a brand system into a digital product that communicates movement before a single word is read.

Rather than recreating existing brand assets, we extended them into an interactive experience. Distinctive typography scales fluidly across devices, generative graphics evolve continuously throughout the interface, and small moments of delight make browsing feel unmistakably Kilo while staying intuitive, performant, and accessible.

Experience architecture

Designing for an ecosystem, not a company

As Kilo grew into a platform connecting ventures, founders, talent, and investors, its information architecture had to grow with it. Instead of giving every audience the same experience, we designed clear pathways that let different users move through the ecosystem naturally, without competing for attention.

The platform introduces a dual-stream navigation that separates Kilo Ventures from Kiloverse while keeping one coherent experience across the site. Investors can quickly grasp the venture portfolio and investment approach, while founders, operators, and future team members are guided toward the opportunities relevant to them. Behind a simple navigation sits a structure built to absorb future companies and initiatives without a fundamental redesign.

Digital ecosystem

A platform built for constant evolution

Growth was a core design principle from the start. Rather than building a collection of individual pages, we developed a modular design system that lets new ventures, landing pages, campaigns, and content go live quickly while preserving one consistent visual language.

Reusable components, flexible layouts, and scalable content patterns let internal teams expand the platform as the business grows. Combined with upward-motion photography, expressive animation, and a responsive typography system, the site balances structure with personality: a platform that feels dynamic today and stays ready for whatever comes next.

Experience enablers

  1. Dynamic motion framework

Animated generative patterns, layered transitions, and expressive micro-interactions create a consistently energetic experience.

  2. High-velocity typography system

A responsive implementation of DGM Fette and Saans keeps the brand's impact intact across every breakpoint.

  3. Dual-stream navigation

Distinct user journeys separate investor-focused content from talent and venture experiences while keeping the ecosystem connected.

  4. Scalable component architecture

A modular system that enables rapid expansion, new landing zones, and future ventures without compromising consistency.

Client feedback

“They never felt like an external agency, but like an extension of our own team. Professional, reliable, and genuinely collaborative, they focused not just on delivering the work but on the reasoning behind every decision.”
